We want this to be a quick process and get you up and running quickly, protecting yourself and your closest contacts from impersonation.

Your first choice is choosing to create a new identity or recover an existing one. If you are looking to recover your identity please follow this guide. Click "Create New Identity" and continue with this guide.

The first step in onboarding is to create your identity by choosing a pass phrase. What we require is 2 words 3 letters or more. This phrase should be memorable and include any words you want that you will remember. You will only require this phrase during the recovery of your identity.

In this example I used "phone calls lose millions".

I now have a second choice to make which is do I want to protect the key that acts as my identity further, its currently secured in the hardware on your phone but without biometrics it is unlocked for anyone with access to your phone. When you apply biometrics we will require a biometric backed session to access the key, enforced by the phone itself. It is recommended to continue with biometrics.

After you continue from this screen, your identity will be created in the background following the identity creation workflow.

Now that your identity is created, we want to make sure that you can easily and safely recover your identity, we show you a QR code and a few options.

This QR code coupled with your pass phrase is all the data you need to restore your identity onto a new device.

You will see a few options at the bottom.

Print - We recommend that you print your recovery information. You should store this document with your other important documents. Preferably in a safe or fireproof box.

Copy - If you have an existing password manager or secure storage you can copy the data from the QR code and store it in secure storage.

Do nothing - You also can just continue at this point as this data will continue to be available to you on your original device.

Welcome to GetTrusted, you have created your identity, Now you can create how you will show up with your first persona. We believe that all humans have multiple personas and share them in different contexts So we allow multiple personas so you can add more later.

Choose if you want a photo or not, you can take a picture or upload an existing one, or choose to not have one and we will just use your initials.

Enter your name, this is of your choosing should it be your legal name, or your anonymous handle. This is the only required field, everything else is optional including professional information should you choose to include it.

This is the persona you will share with others so make it useful to them, you will also be able to edit and add additional items to your persona in the edit screens.
