Use Okta Directory Services with GetTrusted

Setting up Okta with GetTrusted is easy and simple, to get started access your Okta Admin Console

GetTrusted needs API acccess to your Okta instance, the best way to do this is create a service account user that has Read Only

Go to your Okta Admin page and follow these directions.

1. Go to Directory → People → Add Person

2. Create a service account: [email protected]

3. Assign role: Read-Only Administrator

4. Login with that user and then create an API Token as defined below.

5. GetTrusted will use the rights of the Okta token, which is generally defined by who created it.

On the side menu select Security and then API and Add a New App Integration. Select API Services.

Select Create New Token, if you are using a read only user, this will popup a new window, ask for your code to confirm. You will be redirected to a page that displayes your token. Copy the value as this is the only time it will be displayed.

Add your domain and past the token into the token field.

Then click Test Configuration, once you have a successful test, you can save your configuration and move on to test your Single Sign-on and Directory Settings by completing a SSO login and continuing with setting up onboarding requirements.test
